Iud came out when it stuck on my tampon

@annetterobins what happened after the women you know took their IUD out? Did they bleed? Any thing serious?

I removed my Old copper IUD with a pair of tweezers there was a mild discomfort but nothing once it was fully removed

You really need a medical degree for this? For shame... the only thing you need is good tools and any fool can do this...

I wouldn't advise to take it out yourself, but I know a few women do do it themselves.

I had paragard for a few months and my periods were so heavy I would have to use the most absorbent tamon every 2 hours and pads that were for over night, my periods lasted for 3 1/2 weeks at a time, with a 1 week break inbetween, with Mirena my periods are very very light, putting in and taking paragard out hurt more than inserting Mirena, but I like the whole light periods every 2 months, but now I am worried because everyone is talking about cyts how can you tell if you have them? Any signs?
