  • great video and great advice thx for the post and congrats on your new great life. :)

  • Starting all my pre-op tests this week !! But,i'm afraid !! I'm an EMOTIONAL EATER/BORED EATER !! Eat when i get frustrated and when i'm bored !!! Can i change !! The emotional part is the hard one !! Lost everything in life !! Tough marriage and a miscarriage has left me feeling very down !! Used to be So handsome ! Now i'm eating myself to DEATH !! Hoping that a physical change will invigorate me back to life !! Not to mention dumping the sleep apnea and pills i live on for everything !!

  • You look great. Congratulations on your marriage and new life. How is your sister doing? Miss her posting too. Would love an update :)

  • @sandradeeeee i go the 13th im super pumped

  • Hi I saved one of your original videos and watch it on my Blackberry over and over. I'm due for my sleeve on 27th Feb and thought I'd pop in and watch some testimonials. Thanks so much for your update. Love your honesty and openess.

Great to see you doing so well in the long run too.

    Thanks :)

  • Thanks for providing these videos, including this late update. They were a great help to me to decide to get the gastric sleeve, and to know what to expect. I am one week since surgery, and already down 11 pounds (31 pounds total since the liquid diet). I have to agree with everything you said in the videos, except I am a bit tired/weak at times. It is difficult to get in 550-600 calories a day so far, and for someone 6'4" like myself, that isn't much.

  • Like many others, you and your sister were so inspirational for me before I had my surgery. I am 9 1/2 months out and 85 lbs down and hoping for another 20 lbs before my year anniversary is here. I have tried to follow your lead in telling as many people who want to hear about what an incredible gift the sleeve surgery is - it has changed my life totally for the better. God bless you and your new wife and keep the videos coming!!!!

  • Thanks for the video. Glad to see you are doing well. Please ask your sister to post a video as well. We would love to hear from her. I watched your videos before my surgery in June. You guys are very inspirational.

  • Congrats !!

  • Thank you for posting this update. Congrats on your marriage!! Would love an update from your sister... Yours was the first video I found and watched before deciding to have my own VSG surgery. Thanks again. :)
