  • @TRIPLESIXSICCNESS YEAH THATS TRUE I THINK WE ALL KNOW HE'LL NEVER HAVE A SHANE TYPE RESUME BUT HE FOUGHT SOME PRETTY GOOD FIGHTERS I WOULDN'T SAY HE HAS A SHITTY RESUME,, I'M JUST HAPPY HE FINALLY STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND FOUGHT MOSLEY AT LEAST,, I WAITED FOREVER FOR THAT FIGHT TO HAPPEN AND FOR THAT HE GAINED MY RESPECT....

  • @BIGGIEBOY26 Mosley has fought better competition through out his career, Prime De La Hoya, Prime Wright, Prime Cotto are all better than any single opponent Mayweather has faced besides Castillo, who many believe beat floyd in the 1st match, very close fight. Floyd is a great fighter very skilled, unfortunately his resume doesn't match up to other ATG fighters resumes, too bad, Floyd could have possibly be among the top 40 fighters of All Time had he fought all top competition out there.

  • @FSMNoodlyAppendage He got beat in 02, and had a very close fight with De La Hoya, in 2000, he wasn't untouchable. Top 3 no doubt.

  • @bkmiz AH HA HA!! I WOULD HAVE TO SAY YES/NO....YES TO HE MAY GET CAUGHT WITH THAT SHOT WHO KNOWS BUT HE WON'T LAND THEM CONSTANTLY AND I THINK HE WOULD MIX IT UP....AND NO TO HE WOULDN'T GET CAUGHT ON HIS WHISKERS SHANE IS MORE THAN CAPABLE OF TOUCHING FLOYD IF HE WANTS TO TRY AND FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT..IF HE GOES TO HIS RUNNING AWAY STYLE WHO KNOWS WE'LL HAVE TO SEE THAT 1 IN HEAVEN THEN I'LL GET BACK TO U..NEITHER FIGHTER REALLY HAS FOUGHT A FIGHTER AS TALENTED AS EACHOTHER SO ITS HARD TO SAY

  • @BIGGIEBOY26 .....I didn't forget that, my man. My point being, if both were active, fighting every 6-8 mths, do you think Floyd gets caught w/ that shot? Flinches from a jab to the chest and then get caught on the whiskers?

  • @bkmiz ARE U ASKING ME WOULD SHANE HAVE CAUGHT HIM TWICE IF THEY WERE BOTH IN THEIR PRIMES WITH NO LAYOFFS?? IF NOT THEN U FORGET SHANE TOOK THE LONGER LAYOFF DUE TO BEING DUCKED BY EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR MAYWEATHER

  • @BIGGIEBOY26....you're right, it's impossible to predict the winner, as it's just an opinion. However, IMO, Shane needed to "catch" Floyd in order to win. Whether they were 28 or 38, the strategy didn't change. Let's look at it this way, had Floyd not had that layoff, do you think Shane would've caught him, let alone TWICE?

  • @BIGGIEBOY26 ....first off, let me be clear...Shane had mad skills..especially at lightweight. The tools that he honed were lethal. His problem was, like you said, was never a defensive fighter....he moved his head out of the way and fired back. His jab was pawing...it was his "rhythm stick"...it got him in rhythm to throw his straight right. You're right, it would've been a fight for the ages. Floyd always used his jab...b/c he was much more offensive at LW.

  • @bkmiz AND NOW THAT I THINK OF IT I DON'T RECALL FLOYD EVER USING HIS JAB ALOT AT LIGHTWEIGHT/ SOME OF HIS WELTER-WEIGHT FIGHTS THE WAY HE DOES NOW OR DID IN HIS FIGHT WITH SHANE,, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT FIGHT AT LIGHT-WEIGHT..PROBABLY ONE OF THE GREAT FIGHTS IN BOXING HISTORY DO TO BOTH FIGHTERS SKILLS..

  • @bkmiz YEAH FLOYD MIGHT HAVE FOUGHT THE BETTER OPPOSITION AT LIGHTWEIGHT BUT I THINK A BOXERS SKILL IN THE RING SPEAKS LOUDER THAN THEIR RECORDS AND WHETHER U DON'T LIKE SHANE'S JAB OR NOT HE HAS SKILLS....AND MOSLEY VS MAYWEATHER AT LIGHTWEIGHT IS A FIGHT I DON'T THINK ANYONE CAN PREDICT THE WINNER....BUT IF THERE WAS A FIGHTER IN THIS ERA WHO CAN BEAT MAYWEATHER IT IS MOSLEY WHEN ITS ALL SAID AND DONE......ALTHOUGH HE WAS MORE OF A PUNCHER HE WAS CAPABLE OF BOXING AS WELL..
