  • APG, I just love this song. I had never heard this before. I live in Downey California where this record company used to be (it used to be in back of Wenzel's Music Town - basically a record store). I know that Ace Records has put out several records from Downey Records catalogue (including: It Came From The Garage! Nuggets From Southern California) Thank you for posting this and all the great songs you have.

  • i put together a playlist on my page that has songs that sound like this, hypnotic semi psychedelic garage rock

  • 15 seconds in and somewhere in my head I'm plowing through long desert roads on a stretched Sportster with colors in the sky like a lava lamp, and I don't do drugs! BRILLIANT!

  • nice

  • thank you for sharing this gem!

  • The singer has obviously never heard Van Morrison! Its interesting how 60's monster culture and spookery was such a big influence on tunes like this. Great find.

  • Classic. I have this on a wicked compilation of tracks from Titan Records, Modern Records & Downey Productions. Its called Scary Business. Nuggets from the Golden State.

I'd like to find more records, cds, comilations like this.

  • Thanks for posting. Retrospectives would have you belive that we went from Buddy Holly in 1959 straight to Woodstock stuff in 1960. A lot of this gets overlooked.

  • wow this is amazing, thankyou so much for posting all these songs, you've blown my mind away :P thankyou

  • you really don't get the spirit of garage and why this is so good and important! The point is that yes they all referenced popular songs but it their own and loose rockin heart felt!!!

  • i guess it's strange i don't find it creepy at all, but i absolutely love it.
