  • Thanks a lot. I have reoccurring pain in my knee to the right of my kneecap. It tends to tighten up in my sleep, and i feel it when im sitting down (it will tighten up and throb), and when i climb stairs. Someone showed me a massage of the outer thigh which helped relieve all of the tension at one point, but it still reoccurs every few weeks. Any advice?

  • @hckey234 massage is always an experiment. try different things. an experiment that you know will succeed is not an experiment.

  • This is great.. but is it ok to massage areas that are hurt Ex. i play soccer and someone gave me a knee to the side of my leg and its hurting while i do this.. so i dont know if its ok to do it..

  • if it's causing you pain to massage your leg don't massage it.

  • Thanks for this post. I have a pulled groin, which hurts like hell! I tried this during the video. Wow does that feel good! Have to have my spouse watch this so he can massage my leg. ha ha

  • I'm glad it helped. Definitely get your spouse to watch it, there's no better way to learn to massage others than to practice on yourself. After trying these massages on himself he'll be able and hopefully ready to massage away every ache and pain in your body. Good luck!

  • Thank you, that was really good. I have chronic sciatic pain in my right leg and I found this very useful. I have tried to massage my leg before but I hadn't thought of using my elbow for it and the drumming at the end felt particularly good.

  • @RichPoley anything for lower leg for tibialis anterior

  • Hey, I've been suffering from knee problems (running related). Thanks for posting this, only tried it once, feels good - Hopefully it will help with the knee.
