Its no surprise to any of us that smoking is damaging to our health. And those health risks apply to not only the smoker, but also any bystanders that may be near the smoker through second-hand smoke effects. Because of the harmful effects that second-hand smoke poses, recently laws were passed banning smoking in public places.
