@povsepian the point is. just because you can't prove they do or do not exist. don't discredit the idea that they can.
-
@povsepian remarkable work with logical proofs about a being that he refers to as the un-caused cause, or in our words, God.
-
@povsepian and with premises means that each one holds a truth value, one of either true or false. While you might not be able to establish the fact that it doesn't hold a truth value of true. that doesn't automatically make it a truth value of false. just like proving the validity of an argument, just because it doesn't fit one of the five famous forms, that doesn't make it an invalid argument. Now, do some research on St. Augustine and his proofs for the uncaused cause and he's got some

@povsepian Yes, I see now, in the terms of logic that I did ask him to prove a negative. You need to realize, that I also formed the argument in the negative form. lets take the positive. Prove that God does exist. While you may not be able to prove that he does exist that doesn't diminish the fact that he doesn't exist. If you're bringing logic into this, then you need to realize that this argument, just like all of them, is basses on the foundation of premises.

LOL This is hilarious.

Insulting people, who already have their defense up, is not the most efficient way to educate them.

Gotta love em both^^

get his ear Tyson!
I just want to say that Tyson is a fucking cool dude. And it's not that he's disagreeing with any of Dawkins points, it's just that he in an over exaggerated way was saying that if dawkins had a bit more salesmanship attitude towards his learnings, more people would be inclined to listen. You can take that anyway you like. I agree with both of these men though. Science is indeed interesting, and fuck you.
