Thanks for such an insightful analysis .... I respect VBG immensely, but my simple question to him is why was he silent till now on that supreme court verdict of making CBI and Police Force independent.

I have seen him debating lokpal bill in past .... he never touched upon this mind-boggling fact that there's already a supreme court decision of making CBI independent. He should have propagated this in a big way long back.

@rsantoshvln Ha... where did I say that? Are you saying this bcoz I said Lokpal was blunder? If so, read carefully, I said "Govt. Lokpal" not "Jan Lokpal". Govt. lokpal is useless, there is no use of that. Jan Lokpal is strong and can make effect on curbing corruption. Looks like u've made up your mind on AK & KB, so not reading my response with open mind.

Alright, since you are strong supporter of VB views on AK & KB, I wish u all the best, and join VB in his fight against corr.

Anyways, in a broader prospective, the greater acheivement of team anna (including IAC supporters) movement is they have created awareness among people on this issue and made them to get involve nd take it as personal fight for better future. Also going forward politicians are clear in their mind that people will no more tolerate on corruption issue, if not most likely they would lose the election.

@rsantoshvln Just to answer to your question: because the govt. lokpal didn't pass it is not Team Anna loss, in fact I would say we survived a big blunder. How can a lokpal without investigation power would act on corrupt politicians or bureaucrat?. In fact, govt would've misused lokpal to harass other private and civil institutions too.

@rsantoshvln There could be couple of reasons for that. 1. Dr. Swamy didn't join Team Anna, because he doesn't agree with JLP bill. 2. Anna don't wanted to involve political personalities in this movement, probably because they can't get full support from people once they smell politics in the movement, and also govt. gets a chance to criticize the movement saying it is just a political stunt.

@akhilka Of course, I respect him for his honesty in his profession and patriotism. But, when such big movement is going on, he should not use harsh words on people (team anna) who also have done sacrifices for good of the nation. I guess, in the initial stage, team anna didn't agree with some of VB's methods of agitation, and he might've got upset. If both groups fighting against corruption hv different approach,so what,then thy can agitate separately, but don't shout on each other.
