I watched another video and he played it like this but somebody said that theres only 5 notes in pentatonic scales are they wrong or whats d story?

I wondered this too when I was first starting out. Here is how it works...
A pentatonic scale does only have 5 notes...
You play those 5 and then start again.
So In the video I play:
A, C, D, E, G and then the next note is 7th fret D string which is an A again. Next note is C again and then D again and then we run out of strings. :-)

hang on.., so, ur playin the major scale where u run outa strings? coz the minor scale only has five notes??
