Lyrics:

Light falls through whispering trees
That sway, calling me
A breeze floats through bending grass
And cascading colors kiss my face
Yet, as I walk from place to place,
My heart yearns to know the moon
And watch it rise
The sun will rest his weary eyes
And make way for the night
A string of lights strewn across the sky
A haze of clouds enshrouds the night
As darkness and silence surround me,
And stillness draws near,
I find my peace.

Thank you for viewing the piece. It is my hope that this song will bring you as much peace as it brought me writing it.
