This video was taken while doing research about John Purdue, founder of Purdue University. It shows one of the log cabins owned by the Purdue family in the early 1800s. John Purdue might have stayed here, his niece probably lived here, and John Purdue may have helped build it.

The cabin is in its original location, in Blendon Township northeast of Columbus, Ohio.

It is approximately 16x22. The Purdue family, of 9 sisters and John, grew up in a one-story log cabin similar to this one in Pennsylvania.
