HIDDEN TREASURES Dec. 7-19, 2011: Dr. Belen Lardizabal Dofitas, Artist

My sister, Dr. Belen Lardizabal Dofitas, took me to a special art exhibit where she had lent some of her precious artwork to help out in a fundraiser, "Hidden Treasures." There's still time to go and view this beautiful exhibit! For posterity, before we lose Belen's artwork through fortuitous events (floods and the like), I thought I'd capture some videos of it.

I still have memories of going inside our father's office at William Lines, Inc. --- and seeing the oil painting Belen made of Dad when she was 11 years old --- based on a portrait photo. I can still hear the pride in his voice every time he showed his VIP guests the painting which was displayed at the wall behind his desk.
