Filling a vehicle with CNG isn't that much different than filling a vehicle with gasoline. The main difference is a lever that must be in the correct position before compressed natural gas will begin to fill the tank. Make sure you know what pressure your fuel system is rated before filling your natural gas vehicle. Stations deliver fuel at different psi, or pound per square inch. Some stations deliver fuel at 3,000 psi and others at 3,600 psi. When it comes to filling stations there are currently over 350 natural gas stations across the United States, and over half of those stations are available to the public. More stations are being added all the time as the demand for CNG increases. It's equally important to make sure your vehicle upfitter has a solid relationship with fueling providers to give your fleet the resources it requires. BAF is owned by Clean Energy and provides a complete package for converting to CNG, from vehicle conversions to fueling stations.
