You know it sure was. It was one of the strangest things plays I have ever seen live. But yep, this was the game, it was the first or second game after the all-star break. Also, Pudge Rodriguez gets thrown out after arguing.

@NickRoelsConcerts13 What do you mean get my head out of my ass? Those are real stats. Granted Ichiro is probably on a decline, but you're dead wrong if you think he hit into a lot of double plays, or that he strikes out a lot. His numbers say otherwise.

@NickRoelsConcerts13 He hit into a high of 11 double plays last year. Albert Pujols lead the majors with 29. Ichiro is tied with a bunch of people 92th place in gidp. He struck out only 69 times last year. He strikes out all the time?!? For someone that played 161 games, that year. Good luck finding an everyday player that had less strikeouts, you could probably count them on one hand.
