Fear Not - Interventions of Grace

This is a first draft idea for our 2006 Advent Series.

The messages will focus on the manner in which God deals with our fears by interventions of grace.

10 December Zachariah fears...
...the judgment that the angel might be announcing over his failure to keep the commandments regarding serving in the temple.

17 December Mary fears the meaning of the angle's words of greeting, "The Lord is with you!"

24 December am Joseph fears the shame to follow the announcement of the pending birth

24 December pm Shepherds fear the light, sound, and danger of the angelic creatures.
