Hi guys!

I think Turkish Airlines will buy 20 A350 or B787s in approx. 5 years (2013), when the 7 A340 will become too old. Besides I believe that the crew-members would prefer the airbus because of their experience with the a330 and a340. Nice video :)

maybe they will prefer the A350 but, first, according to my memories, the 787 is more powerful, currently, Boeing dominates Airbus and, don't forget it ==> Airbus has an enormous delay, then, the A330 is the newest aircraft of THY and the A350 has been created for replace the A330, in this case, the purchase of A330 was an error...the 787 is the favourite =P

I don't think they will buy the A380 but maybe the A350 or the B787...

@adamcollman no , turkish airlines doesnt need a380's .Abi A380 thy'ye lazim degil. A380's are big and they need a big runway. So you have less destinations to go . I think its a waste. .

It's been 34 years since I last flew with THY, but they were one of the very best airlines around for Customer Service and reliability of the aircraft and crews. Hopefully that has not changed over the years, like it has here in the USA with our domestic airlines.

@mattt08 I heard that at the end of the year they are going to decide which one to go for, whether Boeing 747 or Airbus A380. Thats what I heard but I am not sure if this information is correct.
