I was actually searching for the Jesus Chrysler supercar from arizona when I found this. Funny argument here, but yeah, those guys had the name waaaay before you guys. To your credit, your musicianship is solid and I'm sure no one will come after you in a lawsuit. But change your name and pursue your music, you guys could catch on! Peace out.
haha good job removing your comment Camaro76 and thanks for the personal comment to me hahahaha. Um yes they would waste thousands of dollars and they do it all the time, it's pocket change to a huge label. Give it up dude I posted 3 months ago, you don't just come up with Jesus Chrysler Supercar out of the blue it's not a common name that just anyone thinks up....I gave them credit for making good music just said to come up with a new name.
body shut up!!! let the band name be whatever they want it to be.... are you their lawyer... no... so why do you even care... call Columbia Records/Token Records/Jesus Chrysler Supercar, see if they honestly give a shit if another band, they've never heard of that only plays local shows, has the same name. what could they get??? Use your brain for a change!!!
Not trying to argue anything I'm just stating fact. If somebody legally owns a name it is theirs. You just better not sell any merchandise or CDs or anything even as a local band because you would not want a copy right law suit. You're acting like you don't care and to bring on the lawsuit, but you will care when you owe a lot of money...unless your parents have it to dish out for you. Your music is good just come up with your own name that's all.
Go up to the YouTube search bar... now type in "Crashes of Winter 2005".
BEND THY KNEE, AVERT THY GAZE, FOR BEHOLD THE TRUE JESUS CHRYSLER SUPERCAR IS BEFORE YOU.
See you all on the Latterday Speedway, and watch yourseld on the Three Cross Curve.
Geronimo!
You guys are pretty good, though - but I wouldn't tour with that name. I'd come up with one of your own. Just sayin'...

I agree they should change their name.
But did you know Pink Floyd was named "Tea Set." Then changed their name because a more popular, then surpassed band already had that name?
Call your self like "Velcro Shoes" or "Virgin Mary Magdalene" or some shit like that.

You guys are great musicians but I'm going to have to echo the previous comment about a necessary name change.
The Chemical Brothers started out as the Dust Brothers to pay homage to the Dust Brothers... and then they gained popularity.
Keep up the jams.
