Wow. Quite underwhelming actually. I mean if you'd taken the joke further than just posting the beginning bit and then just playing the song over the action I could see that working. This however is just kinda lazy. The battles are narrated by the trainer yelling out what moves to use and the outcome is decided by how effective they were. You didn't bother to even put in the most rudimentary text screens to show this, so there for the joke falls flat on it's ass.
