  • Very nice! How did you work out how to render it out? I mean, i tried render fractured glass myself, but i never got it right, no mather how i approuched the object, i still got the fracture in the render before the bullet hits. Hope u can answer my simple q. I tried it using max 2009 and mr to render it.

  • @danbannan85 I created two windows of the same size, fractured one of them, and put them in the same position. Then hid the fractured one by turning down the visibility (right click on the glass, properties) to 0. Then you can use autokey to animate the visibility, so right when the bullet hits the glass, it the fractured glass will become visible, while the whole one disappears. Sorry for long explanations, but it's 4 AM here, and I'm not really sure what I'm writing.
