@antilles27 BTW I love this game. Its my favourite actually. Its beautiful really. So is this video. It gets down and gritty, no lame heroics. It shows an overwhelming sense of despair and exhaustion and yet violent excited energy and tragedy all at once.

@antilles27 Our veterans come home to a culture that simply does not understand like Africans, and even Europeans after the world wars. America has never faced a fully modern war with all of its mechanized horrors on our home soil. Perhaps that's why our culture is so violent, if we knew the truth then we wouldn't glorify such things.

I think Amazing Grace fits Far Cry 2 very well. Its a message that any place no matter how brutal, has hope of being made right again. Its one of the last glimmers of hope left in these sorts of African war zones. Far Cry in all its violence is the PG-13 version of these conflicts. Very few Americans, in our sheltered yet violent culture are even capable of imagining the horror of actually being involved in a war.
