  • Very helpful video ^_^

Can it also be used to charge the iPod touch 2nd gen?

  • @BesideMyThoughts Yep, it sure can.

  • Can I charge the iPad with the iPhone 4carger?

  • @luigy5nillal17 Yes, but it won't charge with the screen on and also takes a lot longer.

  • Very clear explanation, cheers mate. You should work for Apple (do you?)

  • @annorian No, but I did at one time.

  • ATTENTION!

Apple website says: iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s. But not the older ones!

I have iphone 3g, which I charged with iPad 10w adapter and today I didn't wake up in time because phone battery was drained though I fully charged it before sleep. Maybe it's a bug, can't say exactly, but!:

A week ago I tried to charge my old iPod video 30gb with that iPad adapter and it was restarting endlessly until i changed the adapter!

I can't say 10w adapter will damage for sure, but be careful!

  • Great job! Very well presented.

    Thanks.

  • Awesome!

  • iPhone, ipad, ipod, android devices, cameras, etc etc etc.... every usb device :)

  • thanks for the great explanation but does this mean that i can plug my ipad or iphone (or any usb device for that matter) into any usb power supply as long as it is 5 volts? cheers

  • Well, I guess this applies to me using my touchpads 2A charger to charge my phones that are usually 1A rated.
