Last year the city dug a ditch between the end of our street and the riverbank bike path. Within the past month it was still empty enough to cross without getting wet (maybe just muddy), but now there's a new channel between our street and the Willamette River proper. You can see the footpath leading into the water. The geese aren't complaining.
