So does what you are demonstrating is perhaps,
the different shells of the ATOM of it in itself?
The Atom is the smallest building block of
MATTER...please comment! Thank you.

If light is absorbed by an atom, an electron in the atom moves to a higher energy shell. Light is emitted when the electron falls back into a lower energy shell.
