Based on an SNL video, our defender of the Army name shuts down the Squids and Zoomies at every turn. Now they're not just writing, they're attempting to taint the name of Army. And that is just unsat.
Done almost entirely with members of B4 (with a cameo or two from Apacheland), this was very much a joint venture. Will Budke had the idea for it, but I asked Billy Herbert if he could work on it and he came back with a script and the idea of 'writing.' We had to tweak it a bit while filming, but it still came out the way we wanted it to, and I'm glad we worked together on this. Another thanks is extended to Catherine Gibbs for working the cash register for us. We kind of just plucked her from eating, so it was much appreciated.
I pumped this one out pretty fast. I just liked it so much and it was fun to make. With 7 other videos being completely filmed, I found I wanted to just kind of throw something up here. I'm in between transitions with programs and cameras, so a lot of the stuff is older and newer, and this was basically my attempt at using all the new toys I have. Some of the other videos coming out will be with the older equipment, but from now on all filming and editing will be done at a slightly higher production level. So enjoy! And I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. Oh and I realize there's some choppiness, etc. But there's some hard corps editing in this baby because not all of the clips were long enough. So if you have a good eye you can see that some clips are looped, then looped backwards and looped forward again to extend them, while others are just dubbed over, or slowed down. And the song was edited through, but had to get a last second surgery that's pretty obvious. Either way, it's not to be taken too seriously, so watch it for what it is.

that was pretty funny. spirit videos dont need credits thou, especially such long credits. army body spray is another good one. great job guys!

i get you, thanks for the props. i'm kind of trying to reinvent the spirit video though. most people just forget when these things were ever made, who made them, and who was even in them. it's more for me and my friends to put credits on there. and adds a bit to the production value. glad you liked the vid though.
more to come!
