The Shadow In Red

His picture is on my wall. He doesn't know it was taken, and he doesn't know it's mine. He doesn't know anything about me. Nobody does. But I know him intimately. I know his real name. I know his blood type. I know how he protects himself. I know that when he pulls into that alleyway tonight I'll be waiting for him. Tonight he'll learn about me and where I keep my weapons. I am his predator and he is my prey.

Beautifully done and very insightful. I have to say, I like how there was no attempts at developing a back story to the main character. It was very deep into her as a person and her understanding of the moment she was in. An astounding snapshot into a deeply woven personality, and it came across in the most balanced way possible.
