  • hey why is everyone jumping on arthur, he looked after her when she was ill not any of !!

anyway marylyn was emotionally ill that cant be denied and looking after somone who is mentally dependent is one of the hardest things somone may have do.

  • I've seen a few documentaries about Marilyn and they always enrage me. The countless men, whether lovers, husbands, directors or employers who treated her like a slut or brainless cum receptacle and who discarded her when understandably, such behaviour made her damaged psyche respond badly astounds me. They wanted a good girl sex toy,who once she turned out to be a real human being with issues, they wanted no part of. And the lack of insight into why she reacted as she did-well,it does my head in.

  • I would like to see the whole documentary. It is very different than the German one.

  • @abidoful - he said he wrote a serious part for as it was what she'd always wanted, and he hoped she would be happy, - but it never happened, (happiness) He knew she was a great serious actress, that's why he wrote it for her and she proved she could act brilliantly in it. But he meant it still didn't give her enough satisfaction inside.

  • I hate AM! :<

  • more propaganda to hide the fact that miller was unemployable under hoover and that he married marilyn for a meal-ticket, got on hollywood payroll to fuck her and write the most humiliating role that broke her heart.

even when she was dead, he couldn't stop pissing on her and made a bundle on that horrid public betrayal of her, "after the fall".

  • Miller and Inge Morath married in 1962. They had two children, Rebecca and Daniel. Daniel was born with Down Syndrome and at Miller's behest, he was institutionalized from early on. Inga would often sneak out to visit her son, but Miller never did. He made it clear he wanted no part of his Down Syndrome son. Daughter Rebecca later married the actor Daniel Day-Lewis in 1996 and has two sons by him. Inge Morath and Arthur Miller remained married until her death in 2002..

  • That's true.

  • The whole world is a respected Marilyn community; people love her. It's Miller I have a major problem with. Confidential is hardly the only book to show him as a snob and an opportunist.
