Thank you. Another story is in the works, this one based on a collaboration to bring someone else's tale to the small screen.

Are your criticisms plot based or are they directed toward the implementation (i.e., how the software implements things)? Either way, I'd like to know as it helps me get better.

I understand completely why your asking. I didn't like ending things so abruptly either. I hope to do a several episode alternate ending that plays things out more smoothly, but I'm not sure when.  At the risk of spoiling things for you, it's still likely to go in the same direction.

I know he shooting doesn't make sense now. Hopefully, it will later on.

As to the resolution, I'm using what "The Movies" calls "high" resolution. I'll try what "The Movies" calls "highest" resolution for the next episode, but I'm a bit worried about file size. We'll see. Please let me know if it's a workable solution.

Thanks for the thoughts, but I'm not all back yet and the worst is still to come. Sometime soon, probably January but it's still up in the air, the other shoe falls and I go into the hospital for a bone marrow transplant. After that, I expect 6 to 12 months with no immune system and significant lethargy (and I thought the lethargy so far was bad). As a result, I'm tying to put these out as if they stand alone (not that this first one is a good example).

JM - I hope you recover after your surgery and I feel kind of cruel criticising you now but to be fair that shooting of the girl/guy was really not good was it? I mean why bother? there is plenty there without it, it makes zero sense and just is annoying and stupid. You have the kernel of a fabulous little Detective yarn with some TG in it as well so more would be good but you need to tighten the story up, and if possible clean up the resolution of the images - they look awfully grainy.

It's slow going, but I do plan for several more parts. The idea is for each to be "sort of" stand alone.

As you noted, the shooting is the weak point in the plot, but I needed it to move things along. Now, along with earning a living, Marlowe needs to [1] figure out how/why the fake Mrs. Smith transformed, [2] why the real Mrs. Smith died and [3] avoid a wrongful shooting (i.e., murder charge).

Its good to see you back, I enjoyed it though it didn't make much sense. why did he kill the female running away - she was't threatening him & also, who killed thewoman in the house? Is there ggoing to be a part 2?
