I watched the Tigers last night then cashed it in and was unaware of the 6ot game til today. Amazing. I pretty much just follow Big12 these days so I'm not familiar with all bigeast players (like devendorf) anymore. Just see a few games here and there on the tele. Dehere was a stud in college tho, good choice. Anthony Peeler for me. There is a great dunk montage of AP in college here on youtube.
Man, back in 1993 in high school I was getting all cocky and predicted that Seton Hall was going all the way then Western Kentucky had to beat them, I was so pissed. Then all my friends gave me sh*t on that monday.
Terry Dehere is one of my favorite college players ever.
Calipari of course! Very entertaining!! Mizzou made a pass at him after Stewart departed but to no avail. Would have saved us from the Q Snyder crap, but I like the job M Anderson is doing.
Yes Pitt is as good as anybody this year no question. Louisville and Marq look tough to beat too. Deep deep conference! I just remembered, Seton Hall made a couple of runs back then too, with Carlissimo, and his grizzly beard.
You gotta like Calipari in interviews he is such a blatant b.s'er and everyone knows it but at least it is entertaining. Pitt is the nastiest team in the big east whether they win it or not.
Yea man when I was a kid the Big East was nasty. St Johns, Cuse, Gtown, Nova, were awesome in the 80's. Not only that but the coaches back then were so charasmatic too. Carnasecca, Massimino, Thompson and all. Calhoun and Beheim were young(er)! KU won last year and watching Bill Self is like watching paint dry. The BigEast is much different now but making a statement this year. Congrats man.
I loved when this rivalry was flat out nasty and great basketball to watch. I remember clearly that Thompson waiving his arms to the crowd to get them cheering when he got ejected.
Yeah that was a good team. I think that was the year Norm got sick. You can only wonder what if.....had he stayed healthy to coach.

Great 6ot game, however that devendorf guy is a serious p.o.s.
