Over 4 million people have died in North Korea under the rule of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Mass starvation and poverty have plagued the nation, the direct result of the juche idea, which is Sung's spin on communism. The DPRK is a failed state in every aspect. Yet, Kim Jong Il's videographers continue to litter the Internet with propaganda that portrays the failed dictator as a loving and sympathetic father figure who provides for the people's every need. They tell us that the DPRK is a paradise with no hunger, unemployment, desperation or poverty. This video exposes the lies by contrasting the propaganda with the reality of life in North Korea as documented by hidden camera.

UPDATE: Youtube is begging me to enable revenue sharing because of the number of hits this videos receives. No doubt I could make a buck off of it, but want to make certain everyone understands that I have no interest in making one red cent from this video. It would be frankly unethical to profit from the plight of the North Korean people.

The purpose of this video is education and criticism and all content is used in accordance with the Copyright Act of 1976, Title 17 USC, Section 107.

  • it is you guys who are brainwashed. you believe what the goverment wants you to believe, and you all repeat all those made up lies about korea. kim jong il was a great leader that spent his entire life making nk a paradise for the common rabble. just look at all those people who went on the streets and cried in misery after their beloved leader left the mortal plane. i hope that one day you will all open your eyes and see the truth about the world around you

  • @USAYTRB the fucking usa said the same over my country, the GDR

  • @ChocolateJesus100 Sad. Because if you had the choice between living in the US or North Korea, you would pick the US.

  • @Littleguidofan They can leave with special permission. To engage in diplomacy or sports. How many civilian North Koreans have you ever met? Zero.

  • @12valvepower1 Nope.

  • @ULTRASvalyCZ I'll say the same about any country that shoots it's citizens simply for trying to flee the country.

  • @MlodyPatriota98 We're not your enemy. We don't want to insult the people of Korea. We want to see them NOT die of starvation because of the ego of these horrible dictators.

  • @niignastii @Benad361 I agree. why are there so many anti-USA pro-USSR/China/North Korea people in these comments? I don't get how someone can compare the US to North Korea.

  • america is doing the same to iraq

  • @MlodyPatriota98 What happened to ll the people who did NOT hit the streets? These people live in FEAR. the ones who did not go had to do and are doing 6 months in a labor camp.. Also have you been there? if not then I could say you dont know what your talking about either...

  • @MlodyPatriota98 Both sides have their own share of lies.

  • @PinkPepperPointe they can leave, i saw them participate at the world cup and you just said "why can't anyone ever leave, go out... travel...you know?" and "Why is even the slightest interaction with the rest of the world not only forbidden, but penalised with death?" when visitors speak with locals and guides, what a hypocrite
