that is not hard, he is a professional football player who has kicked a ball nearly every day of his life, he is on 250k a week and plays for one of the most prestigious teams in the world, that was probably one of the easiest goals he has a scored, and credit to him he has scored a lot

common guys that seriously was just luck on Rooney's part... how often does a keeper mess up that bad... all he had to do was make sure it went on frame... Rooney is a great player but to say this goal is spectacular is pushing it... Good job for Rooney for being where he is suppose to and his control under pressure but for sure just a lucky break

this actually is not as easy as it looks, it seems easy, but it is not.
a bouncing ball is never easy to finish, not to mention that the pressure is heavy on you when chances like this arise, if you miss it, you will feel so bad at it...
I tried to do the same in practice, and a bouncing ball is not easy to control. Great finish from Rooney, he manage to cope with the pressure.
