GhashPhul Part 1

Students of Bangladesh Film Institute (17th batch) Shahria Sharmin and Tripti Haque have jointly directed a documentary titled "Ghashphool." The documentary was premiered on June 12 at the auditorium of the institute, according to a press release.

Shot in digital format, the 14-minute long documentary features a disadvantaged youngster named Sakib, who lives in a slum of Dhaka. Rakibul Hasan is the cinematographer of the documentary.

Sakib performed a song after the premiere. Director of Bangladesh Film Institute Tanvir Mokammel presided over the programme

Khub bhalo lagse jay you tried to keep it very simple - very minimum back ground music, good cinematography, few characters, shorter but interesting and original dialogues Pura 14 minutes muhurter moddhe chole gasey - this is the very essence of a good movie/documentary. Disha
