Funny thing is, even the un-artistic gymnasts of that time seem so smooth and connected now—I'm thinking of a '75 tape I watched in the '90s. We lost a lot. (Not that layout fulls aren't cool...)

@boynextdoor108 I would word this "almost more dancing on the beam than acrobatics" since gymnastics is supposed to include dancing and be artistic. Certainly wish the current ones would take notes as you suggest.
