  • when you can actually train and learn the technique and or movements then comment. Watching video's really dont give you the knowledge to talk about any martial art and their techniques.

  • all this is a traditional kata from one of our ryu-ha's the changing direction is from a defensive mind set where your not really ready for a punch to be thrown. So when it is and your surprised you MOVE. Most of your martial art schools teach to stand in the same spot and attempt to block the punch in the Bujinkan we worry more about moving your body as one unit the lesson to be taught from this isn't the punch defense its all the underlying principles that you can't see from a video

  • minute 0:28 HAHAHA !

  • at 0:12 seconds look at uke's left fist and where it is aimed at. weak kamae.

  • guy on left doesn't maintain kamae , thats all im gonna say

  • Your Taijutsu and Taihenjutsu is slow and weak. You should train basics more.

  • morans -.-

  • @rab877 Well, that is mainly because moving does cost time. And in this kata at least, I am not sure what gives you the time frame to execute the technique after evading the attack. I could only think of uke being sure that he got you and then being surprised he didn't. But for that to work, you would have to evade in the very veeery last moment and uke would have to be quite confident.

Or that isn't a secure block there, but a strike to a nerve point. Maybe that could also buy you time.

"@Arteanor is it that you think it's fun just throwing out your opinions and challenging ppl and not being held accountable for them?"

i find it ironic that you are arguing here where you can continually ignore the challenge that was raised....

this is NOT a matter of opinions... this is a matter of verifiable historical facts.

IF YOU have some wondrous historical evidence for ninjutsu being or containing martial arts, or for togakure ryu please share it with us. not opinions.

  • @Arteanor Haha, ok buddy, you do that, but if i were you i wouldn't be the one rebuking ppl about threatening violence

  • @shinbudoka

"about the getting away with it, i'm just saying the internet is much safer for ppl like you because there is no risk for you." you ASSUME that i would change my words in your presence? i have no fear of you, and if you want to swing because i can show your art to be based on lies, then you will explain that to the police. AFTER i kick your ass.

"I've seen this guys videos before, i've seen you reccomend him in almost every bujinkan video i've seen"

bcuz they need to hear the truth

  • @Arteanor about the getting away with it, i'm just saying the internet is much safer for ppl like you because there is no risk for you. I've seen this guys videos before, i've seen you reccomend him in almost every bujinkan video i've seen. He might be right. But whether he is or not, I know for a fact that the bujinkan teaches practical useful techniques and skills that can be used in REAL life threatening situations and that's all that's really important...to me anyways
