i love his novels! they're so refreshingly different from what i've read before. no stereotypes, original stories/plots & language so intriguing and vivid, that, at some points i didn't even dare to keep on reading (this was the case with "HAUNTED") but i had to because it's so captivating...he deserves so much more credit!

My friend was a big jacker-offer. I copied this short story, printed it, and showed it to him. He hasn't whacked off since.

Thank you Chuck Palhniuk. Fight Club changed my life, Invisible Monsters made me see society in a different way, and now, Guts has helped me respect my friend.

Absolutely fantastic, 1984 didn't evoke as much feeling as this could. This is disgusting writing, written as disgustingly as it could be. Hats off to Chuck for making those strong stomached of us see that beauty can be seen in the most horrific of places. If wwriting can make me feel physically sick then that writer is one of a kind. Amazing.
