too make everything youve made better try make the bases more intresting instead of just grass. try gravel in some areas

that smoke effect with cotton is genious.. i used the same idea when making warhammer fantasybattle campfires.. is there a way to paint the smoke a little greyish and black.. it would be more realistic!

I like the seeker missle. in the video game the tau needs some base defence. that would be awesome to have in it.
