The age of the dreamcast was when the dumb characters were added. Anything from the Megadrive/ Genesis era were decent characters.

Tails and Knuckles should be in as an absolute minimum. However i expected Amy and the Chaotix Crew to all be in there. I would be pissed if there is no metallix at least in the game.

As for levels, i never get why all the modern sonic games have always pushed for new locations. Why would sonic never go back to the old locations again?

Sonic would be very disappointed in you if he ever knew you don't have a clue who Mr.Needlemouse is. It was the original name of the first concept art of Sonic to ever be released.
