Justin Abdelkader's goal with 18.9 seconds left in the third period broke a 1-1 tie and gave Michigan State the 2007 NCAA Men's Hockey championship over Boston College.
Brian Boyle scored in the second period to put BC up 1-0. Tim Kennedy tied it midway through the third period, and Chris Mueller added an empty-net goal with 1.2 seconds remaining.

  • My college hockey team is Western Michigan, but DAMN, what a beast that Abdelkader is!! GO WINGS!!!

  • I used to not like the MSU hockey team, then I met one of the defensemen (Brandon Gentile, from this championship team) at my church today (he plays for my hometown AK Aces). He gave me newfound respect for these guys!
