Made a new tutorial, for creating a hardstyle\club\techno bassline. If you dont have any tok samples you can follow the first step of my hardstyle kick tutorial here:

This is just a pointer on how to make a bassline, you dont have to use the exact same values or even plugins as i used here...If you dont have Ohmicide you can just use a blood overdrive or any other distortion plugins (in moderate amounts!)

I use camelphat, it cost a bit, but you can just use camelcrusher (its the distortion part of camelphat, and i only use that in this tutorial) witch is free!

I also use Luxonix LFX-1310 - its a collection of different tools, like distortion, chorus, bit crusher.. its freeware and can be downloaded here:

The reverb i use is KarmaFX, witch is also freeware\donationware, it can be downloaded here:

you highlight the kick and bass and then set as children

open the layer so it's open, then RIGHTCLICK the channels you want to play with the layer and press set children on the layer

Look, when you add layer, add notes to it's piano roll. Then open layer's menu. A little bit to the right from "synth's" name there is a little dot witch you can highlight by pressing right mouse button. Highlight those "synths" wich you wan't to play the notes and press "set children" in layers menu. You should hear those "synths" you selected playing notes in layers piano roll. Write me if it helped.
