You cant make an excuse of it, I never once heard the Pittsburgh Penguins complain about injurys they played half a season and good time in the post season with out the two stars of the team Malkin and Crosby. They were still really successful w/o them. You never would of known how the series would of played out even with the injured players playing. Canes won fare and square and its history that is all.
