Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) has just graduated, and his marks are, well, lets say a little embarrassing. But marks never stopped him from dreaming of an exciting and adventurous career, and they never will.

He takes a deep, positive breath and dives into the world of sales, rumoured to be an ultra cool career for all smart people blocked from entering medical, engineering or business schools by brainless entrance exams. Its everything he dreamt of, with its smooth dressing, smoother talking men and women who can sell ice to an Eskimo, dreams to an insomniac, and a lifetime mobile connection to a dying man. But soon, his idea of success begins clashing with the strange ways of these professionals he looked up to.

Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year is the sometimes thoughtless, sometimes thoughtful story of a fresh graduate trying to find a balance between the maddening demands of the professional way, and the way of his heart and stumbling upon a crazy way which turned his world upside down, and his career right side up

  • WOW ...so much hate, anger, racism, pain and judgment.....in all these comments ....y y y ?

white, black, blue ,green, brown, whoever you are ......live and let live.... yaar !

  • What has my colour got to do with anything, racist?

I have every right to ask people to consider changing their religion. Take a look at the fucking Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I have no right to demand that anybody change, and I'm not doing so, and you have no right to silence me, which you're not capable of anyway.

I am asking people to think. That is allowed you know, even for brown people, in free countries at least.

  • @jattsoorma187 hmm.. true

  • can any one tell me what is the name a girl in yellow dress in this video plz

  • when a Hindu makes a movie about a Sikh what will you see?? He will insult Sikhs in a twisted way but Sikhs r Sikhs these movies wont matter -- Sikh history speaks for it self unlike Hindu history who r trying to reclaim some pride like Raj puts who were busy giving their daughters to Muslims and now all the sudden they want to b called warriors -- keep going if this would give you any comfort after all this is who you r -- for some comfort slavery has always bn good option for cowered Hindus

  • "And yes i love rap music and will continue to love it."

Its not the music I object to, but the content in the song, well thats from a "Sikh's" perspective, its easy to call yourself a Sikh and enjoy the ghandgee that you were originally taught to avoid ;)

  • Lol @ precious soul...music is music...its a form of entertainment. And yes i love rap music and will continue to love it.

  • "Lol...so i cant listen to music now that im a sikh?"

We are talking about music that glorifies women as sexual objects, blood, money/materialistic goods. You sure you want to pollute your precious soul with such vile music??!

    "Get off my dick."

    Nice one "Singh".

  • Lol...so i cant listen to music now that im a sikh? Hahahahhaha. And its simply a username. Sorry i didnt put time and thought into creating one that would appease the masses. Get off my dick.

  • From the outside it certainly does have the appearance of being something that goes several steps further than just acknowledging who you are and what culture you come from. That's the way I perceive it and I think it needs saying as I doubt I am alone in my thinking. Wearing a turban at a wedding or a formal dinner seems reasonable, while driving a bus or in a classroom it seems like making a statement that should not need to be made.

  • "I'm sorry to accuse you of being a Sikh if you aren't one."

I happen to be an ex-Sikh, so I do have a reasonable amount of understanding on the religion. Although it is rather peaceful unlike Abrahamic religions, it still requires beliefs of things with little to no evidence.

  • I'm sorry to accuse you of being a Sikh if you aren't one. We can all make mistakes, as the Dalek said climbing off the dustbin.
