That guy was probably a dork in high school who never got high fives. So he went to college, majored in engineering, and got a job at NASA to prove to everyone how cool he was. And JUST as his plan came to fruition, he was rejected on camera and millions of people saw it. And all he wanted was one high five.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The redshirt is trying to high five someone 20 years older than he is. This happens to me a lot. I'm a dork. Someone offers me a high five and I'm like , "Wha? Why's this guy got his hand all up like "STOP!," oh. OH. I guess I was supposed to hit his hand or something. Too late, I'm already wrapping up these wires over here." Same with fist bumps. I usually wrap both my hands around it and pump it up and down like we're shaking hands. Confuses people. Confuses ME. I'm a dork.
