Hello - I would try and save a bit more if you can, but if you are lucky, you might find a secondhand Yamaha acoustic in your local 'for sale' paper. Vintage are also a very good value brand.

I've bought this guitar from you guys a few days ago. I should be receiving it tomorrow, I can't wait! :-)

this is a great guitar for Dave Matthews, a beginner wouldn't know how to take care of this properly without supervision.

There is no point in reviewing a guitar with a built in camcorder microphone. Unless you use a proper mic the sound quality of the guitar is completely lost. Thanks for the review but please use a better mic next time.

recorded this year on a 310ce "Sunset" on the album "Soul soother" by SaxUtopia the guitar sound system is awesome no mics just straight fropm the jack. Other tracks on the album aren't Taylor! Tried to put a link from hear but failed.

I bought 310ce this year and if you listen to the track Sunset you will hear the difference between that track which is all Taylor and the other tracks which are a mixture of Other guitars including some sampled stuff. you should be able to hear the difference without having to buy the tracks but they are not expensive any way. (No guitar on dawn track.)

@felicia10121 It's not a good guitar for beginners because it's the price of a used car so if you end up not liking to play guitar or just get unmotivated from playing it, your out a ridiculous amount of money. But yeah other than that it sounds great.
-
@oneyoungman0 you would still hear the guitar like if you were playing it without being plugged in..

hi, if i were to plug an electro-acoustic guitar into an amp then use headphones. will it still make noise when i play i.e. will me family hear it when they are trying to sleep when i want to use it at night lol?

@aldobu1990 Beginners with $3000 to spend on a guitar, that is
is this a good guitar for beginners.

@felicia10121 Yes - it's a great guitar for beginners!! It is also what people would consider their dream guitar! If you can afford it - it's a guitar for life!

This is a really clueless question- but hear me out first.
I don't have any guitar players in my family, except me.
None of my friends play guitar, and I started with an Acoustic.
The thing I'm wondering, is, does a Electric-Acoustic need an amp?
I've looked it up-- EVERYWHERE. But, all they say is it's built in. I'm pretty convinced of that, it being built in, but I don't want to buy it, and then go back to the store to buy an amp.

@UmbreonLover23 Hi there
Electro-Acoustic guitars like the 814ce work perfectly as an acoustic guitar - NOT plugged in. Just like any normal acoustic guitar - they sound full and loud - perfect for home use.
When the guitar is an "electro acoustic" it means it has a pick up system inbuilt into the guitar which allows you to plug the guitar into an amp or a PA system etc. This will make the acoustic guitar sound a lot louder and is only really needed for live performance.

Questions aout guitars. Do Taylor Acoustics last like Martin Acoustics do? and do the Electric system in the Electric-Acoustic Guitars last?

You could argue that a Taylor will last longer due to the fact that it has a bolt on neck and the neck can be shimmed in later life negating the need to cut out the tail piece as is needed on some martins They are quite different really and the martins will last well if looked after also I love them both but in different ways. Teh electro aspect should really make no difference to the guitars longevity
