This is a short recall of my one-day visit to the Sixth Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art in Brisbane where I got to see the works of some of the region's best-known artists among them our very own Indians such as Subodh Gupta, Thukral & Tagra and Minam Apang. I was also especially struck by the stark beauty of Kohei Nawa's phenomenal work pithily titled PixCell Elk 2.

Brisbane was hot (like Delhi in May-June) and humid but the trip was worth every drop of sweat, a sizeable hole in my pocket and the breathless dash for the return flight to Sydney that I very nearly missed :)
