Well, this song makes me want to bang my head... But the acoustic version gives me chills.

@s0cietysreject i never listened to a7x. i hated it. It was a yuppie/preppy guy's version of metal. I listened to slipknot back when i was only a kid of age 11 back in 2001, but ever since the vocalist & guitarist made stone sour again in 02 i stopped listening since he was contradicting his 'knot lyrics by making another band with a alt sound & selling out like mad. You're right. You need to truly know and love heavy shit to enjoy a fine band like this...

@xlixity I wasn't saying they weren't well known in the metal scene. I'm saying that it has the underground appeal. It's really fucking heavy and the Hot Topic pussies can't handle it. Real fucking metalheads listen to this shit. Not saying you can't listen to this and Slipknot and A7X, though, if you get into this you may not want to listen to A7X anymore. People who listen to Slipknot and A7X but rag on this don't have a real love for heavy music, that's a fact.

@s0cietysreject Actually Misery Index are quite known. the problem ( or blessing) is they dont want to sell out, they make great stuff for love of the genre. I just hate it when people call a7x or slipknot true music and put this as shitty noise. this band is an example many should follow.

@xlixity You just answered your own question. A7X gets all the tools from Hot Topic, while this gets the less populous underground metalheads' recognition. You actually have to love heavy music to enjoy this.
-
extremely underrated. How can these guys be less recognized by their talent than the hot topic endorsed a7x? Adam jarvis kills in this song as always.
-
@curioustongue thats fair, i just see deicide as alot heavier but its my opinion. but i still like misery index. peace out.
-
@trampledone That's your opinion. They are completely different though. One is more anti-god and bases their msic on different sound. Misery Index are based on Hardcore Punk and Grind with a Death Metal that comes from Jason and Sparky having both been in Dying Fetus! Deicide are shit in comparison ... IN MY OPINION <--- notice that?!?! Stop stating pinion as fact.

Pretty beautiful solo for a death metal song
