eBid is the only alternative to eBay - support it - it's free. For those of you wishing to make your jewellery photos stand out on a budget, these two videos may help.

  • The paint brush is used first around the outside, the burn tool is used near the object.

  • because I brush obscures rather than clarify the picture?

  • @VERGATOMICA The paint brush is used first around the outside, the burn tool is used near the object.

  • I mean the burn tool - not the dodge tool :-)

  • hi,

your video was a great help to me...as I m working on jewelry making n putting it on web...I wanted to know that how you did you used the brush tool n making the background white only by clicking the outside areas..When I m doing it I have to drag the tool and paint the white colour.

    Please Help me out...

    Thanks

  • @divyakshay Well, I have to hold the left mouse button down to paint the white colour on the outside, because I have been doing it for some time, I tend to keep clicking it.

The dodge tool is the most important, to get around the edges of the item.
