Bouvier as guide dog

I have a Bouvier & if I want her to look like the standard show dog, I would have the groomer do the proper cut, long beard, trimmed ears, longer coat on the legs etc, but the average person just doesn't have the time for all the brushing needed to maintain the coat, as their food & saliva gets matted in the beard & with the coat being a double coat, it just matts up all the time. So, I would usually ask for the shorter hair cut & it does end up looking like a giant Schnauzer.

Maar wel een heel stuk minder haar! Met opzet zodat de vergelijking minder zou zijn? ;)

*Beautiful* Dog!! Now that's what a Working Bouv looks like!!
Wow!!! I could swear that's a Giant Schnauzer and not a Bouvier. I'm not pretending to be an expert but i've been around both. The coat just looks wrong. Do you have to trim it because of its job as a guide dog?

Guiding is also an energy job. It doesn't look like that, but it is tiring.
