A Dwarf Engineer in the Elf Tier 1 Scenario "Khaine's Embrace". This is during the preview weekend. When both flags are captured by one side they explode, killing anyone near them and reset. This tends to be a long scenario, so the video is in two parts.

As an engineer (a ranged class) why do u insist on going into melee, especially against DoK and Black Orcs?

In scenarios I'm interested in capturing, holding, or preventing the enemy from capturing flags. Staying in the back shooting pretty much assures victory for the enemy. Open field I can afford to play sniper more. It is better to die on the flag then stay in the back plinking away and surrendering the flag. But Engineer is an area denial class. Once turrets work properly and more bombs come with level, anyone within short range will be hurting.
