I know what you mean. I went to the Colne blues festival and a guy called Eric Bibb was the headline...There was not a sound from the audience...And a standing ovation, at the end...Pure class.

I'm no concert nazi - i know there are songs you can sing along to, dance and laugh. But songs like this, esp the quiet ones, should be respected. The guy is up there singing something emotional and EVERY IDIOT THAT SINGS ALONG IS SHOWING THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE SONG, THE BEAUTY AND EMOTION OF IT.
If they did they would be quiet and reflect a little...

Excellent! I have seen him 5 times. I am in my 40s's. My husband is not a fan, but goes along for the ride.
This has to be one the best songs ever. Plus Comfortable and Say. Talk about lots of meaning, it is there.
