@chrisefaw "Closing the gap" or not (not), ecu is forever bound to the true example of mediocrity that is "conference usa." So again, you are irrelevant. We don't care about you. A loss to you is more annoying than damaging. It does little to boost your image and is barely depreciating to ours. And our "best team since PR" losing to you doesn't sting half as much as the52-14 beatdown we gave you in 04 (with one of our worst teams of all time) should. Go cry over your NCSU rejection letter.

@ciscopack Please tell me you are kidding me. Amato tried this argument and failed and so will you. A partial qualifier has to enroll, pay for his own school, and can't participate in any football activities. A player who chooses to go to State that doesn't qualify goes to Hargrave where tuition is paid and he can practice and play football. You tell me which one is a better deal.

@chrisefaw ... ECU loads up on partial qualifiers each year....that's not an advantage! We recruit guys and they don't make the grade and they go to ECU....3-6 every year. I just saw a guy the other day that was between us and ECU for 2011.....word is...he can't qualify so he'll be headed to Greenville.
