This piece was written by Bob Mintzer and recorded live by the Osland Saxophone Quartet: Miles Osland, soprano saxophone; Doug Drewek, alto saxophone; Lisa Osland, tenor saxophone; Larry Nelson, baritone saxophone; with the University of Kentucky Wind Ensemble conducted by John Cody Birdwell. This is the third movement of a four movement piece titled "Rhythm of the Americas".

    Perhaps you should listen to european saxophonists, such as Jean-Yves Formeau, Claude Delangle or Arno Bornkamp... to name a few!

  • i really like his tone, its very classical and pure.

  • I didn't like the tone and articulation of the alto saxophone...!
